Evaluations are scheduled for one hour sessions. During the evaluation, the patient will undergo both standardized and non-standardized, or informal testing. Following completion of testing, your therapist will counsel the family regarding results and therapy recommendations. After the initial evaluation, your therapist will complete a formal written evaluation which will be submitted to the patient’s primary care physician. This evaluation will serve as a prescription for services for six months. Progress reports are completed every six months to measure progress and update goals; re-evaluations are completed yearly.

Therapy sessions last thirty minutes and begin immediately following evaluation, signed prescription by physician has been obtained, and insurance has given approval-if billing insurance. PAT completes all paperwork and requests signatures from physicians on behalf of patients.
