Katie Fry, MS, CCC-SLP, CAS, Owner

Katie Brazelle (Fry) started Piedmont Advanced Therapy, LLC in August, 2021 in Greensboro, NC. Katie found her passion for working with children with special needs while completing her graduate internship in Greenville, NC. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a Minor in Hispanic Studies in 2017 then went on to attain her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2019, both from East Carolina University. Katie has clinical experience in a variety of settings including skilled nursing, outpatient clinic, school system, and private practice. Her experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with a variety of diagnoses includes: articulation/phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, apraxia of speech, and pragmatic language disorders, with particular interest in autism spectrum disorders. Katie has specialized training in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and holds a Certified Autism Specialty (CAS) as well.

Anna Williams MS, CCC-SLP

Anna Williams joined Piedmont Advanced Therapy in March of 2024. Before pursuing her dreams of becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist, she enjoyed working with children in Early Intervention for 15 years. She received her Masters of Science in Speech and Hearing Science in 2015. Anna has clinical experience in a variety of different settings including preschools, outpatient clinics, within the school system, assisted living facilities and private clinics. Her areas of expertise include: expressive and receptive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, pragmatic language disorders and early intervention. Anna enjoys working with clients and families to help them accomplish their communication goals.

Kari Burley, MA, CCC-SLP

Kari Burley joined Piedmont Advanced Therapy, LLC in March of 2024 working PRN hours. Originally from Ohio, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with Minors in both Psychology and Linguistics from Ohio University in 2011. She went on to obtain her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Kent State University in 2013. Kari has clinical experience in a variety of settings including pediatric home health, outpatient hospitals, autism clinics, and private practices. She's had the opportunity to professionally work with children with developmental delays, articulation/phonological disorders, fluency disorders, apraxia of speech, receptive and expressive language delays, pragmatic language disorders, and children utilizing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. Kari loves working with her patients and their families and believes in working collaboratively with other professionals to address each child’s unique needs comprehensively.

About PAT

We, at PAT, consider collaboration a key factor in eliciting carryover of goals in all environments for our clients. Collaboration occurs with parents/caregivers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, psychologists, teachers, ABA staff, etc. We firmly believe collaborating with other professionals/caregivers regarding evaluations, performance, goals, and treatment sessions to ensure the best, most individualized, care for each client.

Currently, Piedmont Advanced Therapy provides services in clinic space at 5501 Adams Farm Lane, Unit F Greensboro, NC 27407. The therapist will assess the need of each client and determine best course of action for each individual client.
